Dr. Ron Kirkland became pastor of First Baptist Church in 1998. He is a graduate of Mississippi College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Sue have four grown children, Davy, Dan, Sundi, and Wendi, and are the proud grandparents of 14 grandchildren.
Doug Spires joined the FBC staff in 2006. He is a graduate of Mississippi College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Stephanie have two children, Abby and Sarah Katherine.
Steve Smith joined the FBC staff in 1985. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas. He is married to Darlene. They have two grown children, Tracy & Todd. They also have four grandchildren.
Billy Beech became an FBC staff member in 1989. He is a graduate of the University of Mobile and Mid-America Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Martie have three grown children, Pam, Shay, and Jeff and four grandchildren.
Matt Neyman joined the FBC staff in 2006. He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and Mid-America Baptist Seminary. He is married to Emily.
